A little something different and fun tonight in this Roadkill……….. It’s not often I speak of myself or my things that I collect so here is a little piece of me……
I have had a pssion for cars all my life, I was the kid on the block to first ever break the “Have 100 Hot Wheels Cars” to play with, it took a long time!!! That was a longtime ago, I still have a few of those cars today in my display case. Also back when I was around 10, 11, 12 and 13 years of age I got into building the model cars. Man I found a new passion, why buy them already made when you can do it your self???
Now some of you know and some don’t…. I am 40 years of age now and I still have every single model car I built as a kid!!!! I have a lot of them!! Folks that was almost 30 years ago, I have no ideal how they all survived this long. I built them to last I guess? Now don’t get me wrong, most of them today look like barn find cars and I think they look really cool like that!!
I display these in my garage at my home, no display cases, no covers, no nothing to protect them…….. From time to time I will take a photo of one and show you them right here!!!
Today we have a 1985 Ford Mustang….. I built this one when I was 11 years old, she’s dirty and sagging but hey so am I……..
Check out that 4 cylinder engine WOW!!! Nice detailed engine bay!! Is that a Chevy orange block?
How about that single exhaust dual chrome tip!!!! Too funny!
I think since I got her down off the self I will give her a wash and wax!! It’s been almost 30 years I think it’s time…
OK, for tomorrow look for the Hot Wheels Boulevard “B” case singles to hit!!
