Hi Gang,

It’s been a long week here so I for one am glad it’s FRIDAY!!!! Next week we will have another new release of the Hot Wheels Hot Ones, folks this release is going to get better and better with each release!!! Just wait and see!! At this time I have not heard of anything else heading our way.

Hi Folks,

Sorry it’s been slow on the Roadkill Blog, there is just not much going on right now. Yesterday I did load up the site with some cool Dukes of Hazzard Diecast. Check out the Johnny Lightning > 1:24 category and the Ertl Cars & Trucks category. Also I did a small re-up on the Johnny Lightning > Misc. Category….. The new John Deere series, we ran out of these fast the 1st time so we now have a few more in stock.

February 23rd – 26th is the Diecast Space.com Super Convention in Las Vegas!!!!!!!! Nickelcast will be there!!! Arriving on the 21st!!!!

Roadkill for your Thursday 01/19

Hi Gang,

A little something different and fun tonight in this Roadkill……….. It’s not often I speak of myself or my things that I collect so here is a little piece of me……

I have had a pssion for cars all my life, I was the kid on the block to first ever break the “Have 100 Hot Wheels Cars” to play with, it took a long time!!! That was a longtime ago, I still have a few of those cars today in my display case. Also back when I was around 10, 11, 12 and 13 years of age I got into building the model cars. Man I found a new passion, why buy them already made when you can do it your self???

Now some of you know and some don’t…. I am 40 years of age now and I still have every single model car I built as a kid!!!! I have a lot of them!! Folks that was almost 30 years ago, I have no ideal how they all survived this long. I built them to last I guess? Now don’t get me wrong, most of them today look like barn find cars and I think they look really cool like that!!

I display these in my garage at my home, no display cases, no covers, no nothing to protect them…….. From time to time I will take a photo of one and show you them right here!!!

Today we have a 1985 Ford Mustang….. I built this one when I was 11 years old, she’s dirty and sagging but hey so am I……..

Check out that 4 cylinder engine WOW!!! Nice detailed engine bay!! Is that a Chevy orange block?

How about that single exhaust dual chrome tip!!!! Too funny!

I think since I got her down off the self I will give her a wash and wax!! It’s been almost 30 years I think it’s time…

OK, for tomorrow look for the Hot Wheels Boulevard “B” case singles to hit!!

Doors open at 8:00am for those of you who want to set up and sell. Set up times are from 8:00 am – 9:00am. Tables are $10 for the 1st and $5 each additional. Tables are 6′ x 3′. Chair is included with each table. If you wish to reserve a spot please contact me at: 706.866.0030 or sales@nickelcast.com DO NOT ASSUME I HAVE TABLES FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE NOT CALLED/EMAILED YOUR REQUEST!!

It’s best to reserve your table early as space/tables are limited. The last show was a sell out. Only 50 tables available!! It’s a cold one here in the south, well really every where it’s cold. Bundle up people!!

OK, Next week we will see the Greenlight Hot Pursuit R9 and the first round of our model car kits. Many of the model car kits will only be 1 in stock so if you see somethng you like you might want to go ahead and grab it. The models will be in stock on Tuesday.

Hi Folks,

Sorry it’s been awhile since the last blog, it’s been a week of shipping, inventory and updating product on the site. Still a lot of inventory to do so I’m going to continue on that next week.

Speaking of next week on Tuesday the 10th we should see the new Hot Wheels Hot Ones and Hot Wheels Racing cars…….. Also I think next week the Greenlight Hot Pursuit R9 will be released. Other than that just not much going on right now.

For you locals come visit me at the I-75 Market tomorrow. I have been asked many times over the last 2 - 3 weeks when will I do another show in East Ridge… I’m thinking this will now take place in March instead of February. I will call next week to see what available as far as the dates go in March!!

Roadkill for your Tuesday 12/27

Hello Folks,

What a big day of shipping, behind is what we are after the 4 days of off time. We got a little over half the weekend orders out and should be caught up by the days end tomorrow. Not just the weekend orders but also all the pre-orders for the Greenlight Black Bandit VW Diorams and the M2 Auto Haulers R5. All the pre-orders have been shipped!! I did not get anytime to check phones messages or return calls so I will work on that tomorrow and Thursday, sorry for the delay on that!!

At this time I have not heard of anything new coming our way this week but that could change by the morning hours. Thanks to everyone who took part in our 25% off Hot Wheels Garage series this past weekend. Look for another sale this coming weekend on another category.

I hope everyone had a wonderful christmas and got some time to spend with your family and friends. I wanted to thank all of you who sent us christmas cards the last two weeks!! You guys & gals rock!! We are about to close out another year already, man o man where does the time go?!?!?!?!?!? Look for a cool end of the year newsletter to go out this weekend with lots of good info about Nickelcast and things we will be doing in 2012!!
